About these terms

These terms apply to driving tuition provided by Skippers Driving School (Manfred) in Chippenham and the surrounding Wiltshire area, and to your use of this website. Booking a lesson means you accept them.

Lessons and pricing

• • Lessons are charged at £50 per hour.
• • Two-hour sessions are standard for most learners; single or extended lessons can be arranged on request.
• • Pick-up and drop-off are available anywhere within the areas listed on this website.
• • Prices may change, but you will always be told before your next booking is confirmed.

Payment

Lessons are paid for at the time of the lesson unless otherwise agreed. Any block bookings paid in advance are non-transferable to another person.

Cancellations

Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or move a lesson. Lessons cancelled with less notice, or missed without contact, may be charged in full. If we have to cancel — for illness, vehicle problems or unsafe weather — you will not be charged and the lesson will be rearranged at the earliest opportunity.

Your responsibilities as a pupil

• • You must hold a valid UK provisional (or full) driving licence and bring it to your first lesson.
• • You must meet the DVSA eyesight standard and tell us about any medical condition that affects your ability to drive.
• • You must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any medication that affects driving. Lessons will be ended without refund if you are.

Driving tests

Use of the tuition vehicle for a practical test is by agreement and subject to availability, and is charged for the full time the car is booked out. We will only recommend booking a test when you are at test standard; the final decision, and the test result, rest with the DVSA.

Conduct

Tuition is provided in a professional and respectful manner and we ask the same in return. We reserve the right to end tuition where behaviour is abusive or unsafe.

Information on this website is provided in good faith and for general guidance. Content, images and the Skippers Driving School name remain our property. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
